- When brushing your extensions: Slow and steady wins the race here. When it comes to tangles, start from the bottom and work your way up. Work your way slowly, from the tips to the roots, to avoid compounding all the knots and yanking your way through. Use a wide-toothed comb or your fingers, and avoid using a brush unless its a wet brush as this can lead to breakage.

- Styling your Brazilian Hair Weave: Apply heat protectants before using any hot tools. Avoid using hair styling products that contain short-chain alcohols and sulfates that will dry out your hair in the long-term, such as hair gels, hairsprays, hair styling clays, etc.
